Saturday there was a benefit for Mitch Dubey with a whole bunch of great bands- Touche Amore, Pressure, Broadway Calls, Dangers, Comadre, Ghostlimb and Joyce Manor at Aladdin Jr in Pomona. The show sold out before the doors even opened. Sadly people were turned away from the great cause. I didn't know the guy personally but everyone I knew him had nothing but the kindest things to say. I forgot how good Pressure were and they were on fire. Everyone I saw was good, I did miss Joyce Manor because I went to get something to eat and forgot about the time. Here's the goods:

Dreams to Remember @ Bridgetown DIY 7/20/13 Furn Zavala and I did a little Art show this last weekend that was originally going to be a part of the Destroy LA weekend... I had a great time and loved everyone that was a part of this (Looking at you WALTER). We had some old school folks like Jon Roa, Igby and Dave Sine. New kids who put me to shame like Alvin Carrillo, Angela Owens, Dan Gonyea, Evan Burke and the cool kid from San Francisco Matt Gill. Awesome photographers that shoot outside of gigs like Larry Ransom, Julian Berman, and Alex Aimaq... and cool artist like Dethkills and Tuna Tardugno. The coolest part of the evening was Tim Butcher making it, totally last minute with a print that my daughter absolutely loved The Artists Sabs and Tim Butcher Larry Ransom Walter Yetman Furn, Sabs and I Dave Sine Dethkills Jon Roa Igby Angela Owens Danny Lyerla Matt Gill Tuna Tardugno Furn Zavala
